These Terms & Conditions govern any booking, enquiry or engagement with ROUL Media ("we", "us", "our"), a Sydney-based nightlife media company providing event photography, videography and short-form content services. By engaging us for an event, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Services
We provide event photography, video production and short-form content creation (including TikTok and Instagram Reels edits) for nightlife venues, private events and brand activations. The specific scope, deliverables and turnaround for each booking are agreed directly with the client via email prior to the event.
2. Enquiries & Bookings
Submitting an enquiry through our website or by email does not guarantee a booking. A booking is only confirmed once we've agreed on the date, scope and any deposit in writing. We recommend enquiring as early as possible, particularly for weekend and peak-season dates.
3. Payment
Pricing is provided on application and confirmed in writing prior to the event. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit may be required to secure a booking, with the balance due on or before delivery of final content.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand nightlife events can shift. Please give us as much notice as possible if a date needs to change. Cancellations made with limited notice may forfeit some or all of any deposit paid, to cover time already allocated to the booking. Specific cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
5. Content Turnaround
We aim to deliver content within the timeframe agreed at booking (commonly within 24 hours for short-form highlights). Full edited galleries or video packages may take longer depending on scope — this will be confirmed with each client.
6. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
ROUL Media retains copyright in all photography and video content we produce. Clients are granted a licence to use delivered content for their own marketing and promotional purposes. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ROUL Media also retains the right to use footage from an event for our own portfolio, website and social media, in line with our Photo & Video Consent Policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ROUL Media's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business or reputation. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Indemnity
Clients agree to indemnify ROUL Media against claims arising from inaccurate information provided to us, or from a failure to obtain any permissions required at a venue for filming or photography.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
